The Wired Floor+ Alertamat is a durable, long-life pressure-sensitive floor mat designed to enhance patient and resident safety. Ideal for placement beside a bed, chair, or doorway, the mat activates an alarm when stepped on, instantly alerting caregivers that a user has left their designated safe area.
Its light-coloured design makes it particularly effective in dementia care environments, where users may be less likely to notice or deliberately avoid the mat.
For maximum flexibility, the Wired Floor+ Alertamat can be connected directly to a nurse call system using the supplied 3-metre cable, enabling centralised monitoring and rapid response. Alternatively, it can be used independently with the Alerta Alarm Monitor (sold separately) to provide localised alerts without requiring integration into an existing nurse call system.
A unique built-in "Y" cable provides an additional connection point, allowing a second compatible Alerta device to be connected through a single nurse call socket, reducing installation requirements while expanding monitoring capabilities.
