The Invacare Softform Premier ActiveCARE Mattress is a clinically proven pressure-relieving mattress that helps reduce pressure ulcers and sores. This Softform Mattress combines the pressure redistributing qualities of specially cut foam castellations with air cells that can inflate as required to provide active therapy. The comfortable high-specification foam provides effective pressure redistribution and always maintains comfort.
The Invacare ActiveCARE Mattress is suitable for those at High Risk of developing pressure ulcers and is designed to provide comfort to the user and ease of use to the carer. This Invacare mattress is ideal for care homes and healthcare environments.
With comfort in mind, this Softform Mattress is powered by an innovative digital pump, the air cells within the mattress alternate on a ten-minute cycle, delivering a very low impact at the point of change. This significantly enhances patient comfort whilst providing adequate pressure relief. The air insert within the Mattress allows stepping up and down between static and dynamic alternating systems with minimum patient disruption.
The base of the Mattress features a toughened PU coating to prolong its longevity of the Mattress. The outer cover is a multi-stretch, waterproof, polyurethane fabric which effectively reduces the potential of fluid entering the Mattress.
