Sharps Bin 3.75Ltr Yellow

The 3.75ltr Yellow Sharpsguard bin helps to protect you and your waste disposal from even the most hazardous of materials.

The Bin has been designed to follow the 'Safe Management of Healthcare Waste' guidance, that was originally published by the Department of Health (2006). This guidance provides a national colour-coded system for managing and disposing of sharp objects and other kinds of healthcare wastes.

The Bin comes with a colour-coded lid and label, to help it with segregating and disposing of your waste. This ultimately leads to good waste management, through compliance with current best practice regulations. This Bin can dispose of sharps that are contaminated with medicinal products and their residues (EWC 18-01-09), other than cytotoxic and/or cytostatic medicines. This makes this container ideal for if you are wishing to place waste, except cytotoxic and cytostatic, into one container. The Bin comes with an opaque coloured door, clearly showing when the door is in the temporary or fully closed position.
